Which font should I use for Kazakh text?
For websites and interfaces, choose sans serifs with full Kazakh support: Onest, Inter, Montserrat, Roboto, Golos Text. For books and magazines, use serifs: Lora, PT Serif, Noto Serif. All of them are free for commercial use under the SIL Open Font License.
Why don’t Kazakh letters display in my font?
A “Cyrillic” label doesn’t guarantee Kazakh letters: many fonts only include the Russian set. Apps then substitute Ә, Ғ, Қ, Ң, Ө, Ұ, Ү, Һ and І from another font, and the line looks patchy. The catalog marks the missing letters for every font.
